Butterfly moth identification help please. UK

    Hi, I took this photo in my garden in London England and wondered if any of you could help me identify it, i have searched through most of the web looking for something similar with no avail. It was also a light orange colour underneath.

    It's definitely a moth and most probably a Tiger moth.

    Thank you for the Tiger moth idea. After a bit more investigation it is definitely a Jersey Tiger Moth.
    Very pretty and I have never seen one before. Seems they are common in Jersey and the warmer climate is making them spread northwards.
