It's snowing here and quite cold. I slid open the door to the back deck, and Jazz escaped, I'm sure feeling very adventurous and intrepid, into all that strange white stuff! I think she was trying to figure out if she could eat it lol!

Didn't take her long to realize that she much preferred the inside to the outside. ;)

I hope her tiny feet didn't get too cold! My chickens, who had never experienced snow, refused to go outside when they saw the "white stuff". My chickens are smarter than I am.

I appreciate your concern, but be reassured….she wasn't outside long enough for there to be a problem.

I'm well aware that chihuahuas are not genetically or ancestrally able to handle a cold climate. My two shiver in all but the hottest weather But they're also pretty good at regulating their own comfort. Jazz was outside for all of about 30 seconds, at which point she decided she did NOT like it, and promptly came back inside, jumped into their little bed, nudged her brother over and snuggled up under the blanket close to him to get herself warm again. She's cute, but really pretty much a wuss. ;)
