Beans are to the top of a castor bean plant a birdhouse and a sunflower. Never thought I'd see the day I'd have to climb a latter to pick beans.

    Cute KK :D

Sorry to say but I heard a big crack yesterday afternoon and saw the giant castor bean hit the ground. Made for easier picking of the beans. :(

The mark of a a master beaner. Congrats on this super success with your bean plants and harvest.
My beans are quite thick and tall this year too. I planted them is stages, so as to be able to harvest fresh beans until september.
I reckon that you have harvesting to look forward to for some time yet as well. Whoopee!

    Well done. you.

Donna, I just planted bush beans today. If I had seen your post earlier, I would have gotten some pole bean seed and showed the seeds your pictures before planting.
Are you sure you aren't a close relative of Mother Nature ;) ?

Remind me never to grow beans... I'm afraid of heights! :D
