I was looking at older posts and started to wonder if we are having a giant tomato contest this year? This is the first year I have gotten a BIG one, so here's MY entry :)
    A 1lb 10.4 oz 'Sicilian Saucer'!

I would dust off my bowling ball but that one is old hat. I could spray paint my wife's exercise balloon but while it looks big does not weigh anything. I guess no entry from this end of the woods. Good luck Netty! You went all the way to Sicily for seeds? Hmmmm. :)

Haha Jerry! The seeds were given to me in the early spring and I put in a row of 12. I am going to have a lot of big ones like this I think, and LOTS of salsa :) Surely there must be some more big ones out there? Capt? Waretrop? Marlingardener? Carolyn?

Netty, you got me beat hands down. I'm just happy to be getting tomatoes. I was ready to toss in the towel, but suddenly, they began to produce. I'm saving seeds from the very best and hopeful for 2015.

Netty, that is a big one. I have some tomatoes that are quite big but not sure if they weigh that much!

    What a big one, Netty!
I do not have any at all that come anywhere close to that. Mine are more like Mart's...some larger, some smaller.
It's no contest on this side of the water....but well done you. You may well win it this year.
