    Update on strange fruit.
She, now called Jemma from Jemima piddleduck, is still here. she still is a bit hit and miss over the litter tray, but getting better.
Bill still will not deal with her as firmly as he needs to. Ben has sorted her and he only has to look sternly at her and she stops.
She is irrepressible though, in that even after being clobbered by Ben she will go back and try to play with him.
She is also too fond of biting the hand that feeds her, or indeed does anything for her. She is also a bit too keen on chewing the wires from the electrics to the computer. We have had to cover them to stop her. She has just turned the computer off while I was typing this.

Difference in size between her and Bill

The lump is Bill, he likes to sleep under the throw over.

We lit the fire last night, guess who found it?

she sounds like a real hand full. To deter her from cords and stuff, get kitty chew toys, she might just be teething :). I know you probably already know it with other cats, though I've found some new stuff at the pet store that i never did before when i had my old cat lol. But they are beautiful kitties!!

Jemma is adorable, those eyes just melt you heart. Good luck with the litter tray, our newest took to it pretty quickly after only leaving me three piles and one puddle to clean up the first 2 days he was inside.

Is she sharing the litter tray with Ben and Bill? Some cats just don't like to share. Try giving her a separate litter tray in an area difficult for Ben and Bill to get to.
Then you will have the unmitigated joy of cleaning TWO trays! :D

Bill and Ben do not use a litter tray. They stay outside almost all day and come in late at night to sleep. They seem to manage without for the length of time they are in the house.
She has plenty of hard things upon which to chew, but she prefers hands.

This is her playing with a peg on a string, this morning.
Still a bit hit and miss with the litter tray, but a lot better.
Bill and Ben still not overly impressed, but at least they are coming in at night to sleep.
We have to be careful, as Bill tries to eat any food the kitten leaves and it is not good fro him (kidney problems). She also wants to eat Bill's special food so that has to be put out of her reach, Heaven help us when she is big enough to jump up onto the work surfaces.

What nice cats you have there. Jemma and Bill are quite beautiful. Did she find a good recipe for those pheasants?

One good thing for breaking cats or dogs from chewing things they shouldn`t is a good strong water pistol or a spray bottle that has a stream feature. Of course you have to be vigilant in watching them but the minute they get close to the wires,,fire the water gun. Doesn`t take long and they would rather not chew or even get close to those electric wires. Works for housebreaking dogs too. Just have to keep your eye on them.
