Awww what an adorable photograph. With big, green eyes like that I'd forgive anything that he'd done wrong and wouldn't even be tempted to throw him out.

She is a major worry. She will not leave the other two old men alone. Every time they come in she attacks them. The dominant male has sorted her so that once he has settle down to sleep she leaves him alone, but the other one can get no peace. We have had to put him in the living room and shut the kitten out so he can sleep. Trouble then is that she has begun digging up the carpet by the door to try to get into attack him.
If we cannot sort this out, then she will have to go. The C.P.L. will not take her until she has been neutered,so she has another 2 months to calm down.

I love it. That is cute. Thoughts go through my head of her doing some badgering. She doesn't mean any harm...... :D

Get a spray bottle with a stream setting or a good water pistol that will reach a few feet. When she scratches shoot her with the water gun or bottle. If you are away from her she will not associate the spray of cold water with you. But just as something that happens when she scratches. Doesn`t take them
long to decide not to do that. You just have to be vigilant in watching her a few days. Should also work on the attack thing but you have to shoot the water just as she starts the attack. And give a firm and loud "no". After a few times of this the "no" may be enough because when you say it she will be looking for the water and forget about the attack. I have used this method on dogs and cats with success in breaking bad habits and in housetraining.

Blimey, the house is damp enough as it is without spraying water all over the place. You would have to be incredibly quick and accurate to get her, she moves like greased lightning. There is not even time to catch her before she has leapt on to poor Bill and off again.
I just wish he would really beat the !"£$ out of her instead of running. Though last night he did end up chewing her face and kicking her, as cats do when they fight. She ran away for all of one minute before attacking again. Of course then Bill had to run away with her chasing him.

Heh, heh, heh--It is such a pleasure to read your cat antics. Those beasts are such entertaining creatures. I wonder if Bill shares in this "positive" take that I am writing.

At the moment she is sat on top of the Computer. Great until she steps on the Off button.
I made her another toy this morning, a clthes peg on a piece of string tied to a stick. She played with it (and me) for half the morning. The idea is that as soon as she attacks the others, you distract her with the toy. No dice, it was much more fun to jump on Bill, the peg stood no chance.
So I tried the water pistol idea........Bill got wet and did not like it at all, the kitten stayed dry and attacked the jet of water with great glee. Then she went back to get Bill while he tried to dry himself off.

Have you tried getting her to chase the laser? I bought a couple mouse shaped laser toys in the cat toy area at Walmart. She loves them but my finger gets sore pushing the button down. Why in the world don't they make one that stays on? Maybe there is one out there someplace. She races through the living room chasing it, it does tire them out so maybe that would help you out. It is a red dot and you move it where you want to by pointing it in the area. The dogs think she is goofy running around so fast, maybe we can get a few pounds off of her by spring...LOL

Adorable picture...I once had a cat that you could only hold her if she was in a box...I had small boxes all over the house so she felt comfortable and safe.

    Aww,pretty kitty :-D

This worked for our puppy so it might work to stop your kitty digging at the carpet-Vics menthol rub (or any other strong-smelling thing that she doesn't like) smeared on the carpet that you don't want scratched ought to put her off.

Four years on and Nyla still backs off when I have the jar open for my use :D

She has been to the Vets this morning for the second part of her injections. She howled all the time going, in there and coming home. She has a very slight heart murmur, but nothing much to worry about.
She only scratches the carpet when she is locked out of the living room to give the others some peace.
I thought Vick made some cats very aggressive?
