Donna, I don't have them. Since I saw your post, I called all my gardening buddies and they don't either. However, I am still searching among other gardeners, and put a notice up at the feed store. If none of this works, shall I start looking through my multitude of seed catalogs and try to discover a commercial source?
Thanks Jane. I have found them on line, but you only get about 10 tiny bulblets for $$$ plus shipping. So I just thought someone on GS might have them. I'll keep looking still I find some.
Here are two places in the US. I don't know their web addresses. Here is contact information though. Egyptian Walking Onion | 301 S 10th St., Garfield, WA 99130 | 509-715-7238 | tracy@starsunmoon.com And also Territorial Seed Company (Toll Free: 800-626-0866)
http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=egyptian+walking+onions&_sacat=0 Check here. This is the Ebay page. You can find them reasonably priced if you look around . One seller has 30 bulblets for $2.95. I am going to try them this year too. I buy many things on ebay.
Mart, Ebay never entered my mind. Thanks to you I have some on the way. $2.95 for 30 is the cheapest I've seen anywhere. Thanks again!!
Any hard to find seeds or bulbs can be found there, They may not be as large a company as some but I have never been disappointed with anything I have bought . I never buy from seed catalogues. Just ebay. But like anything else,, always check feedback . They are usually much faster getting the item to you than commercial nurseries.
