Can anyone tell me how to clean a plastic bird bath since the birds have to drink the water and I think would harm the birds.
    Thanks

Ed, we have plastic, and I have a small soft scrub brush and I use Dove dishwashing soap (it's used to clean birds in an oil spill, so it can't be very toxic). After scrubbing out the basin, I rinse well with water and then fill it for the birds' use. I've been doing this for years, with no bad effect on the birds.
Bless your heart for worrying about harming birds!:smt051
