Christmas rose I believe. I had ordered six white for my late sister for when her summer flowers are done. I wanted her to have nice flowers whilst I am away on a mini hol at the Insistence of my son. A place called Mercia in Spain, its only a two hour flight. Its cold and damp here in winter and so a little warmer for my Rheumatoid will be hopefully beneficial over Christmas. They were delivered as a little bigger than plug plants. K
Hellebores are a plant I have wanted to add to my gardens for years, I'm just not sure I have a spot they would like.
You will love them! it is so neat to go outside, when nothing else shows much sign of life and see them flowering! I bought mine at WalMart, they are a purpleish color and then an old Italian lady in Atlanta gave me a piece of her whitish/green one that I smuggled home in my suitcase
Sjoerd: Well, I sent a message to the grower but got no reply. I was asking about the name, maybe he did'nt know....... I went to watch the QVC video where I bought them..not much joy there hard to hear him he gets so excited about plants. http://www.qvcuk.com/Hayloft-Plants...t.505160.html?cm_sp=VIEWPOSITION-_-6-_-505160 K
For Sjoerd, and anyone who wanted to know the name of my Heleborus I got the answer back. Heleborus Niger praetor double. K

Kate, Here are a few of mine. I don't have the names on them at the moment.... I love them so much I could eat them.....
Those are some very pretty flowers, Kate, Barb and Philip! Beautiful flowers that I wished I could plant but, with my plant nibbling pup, I don't dare as they are suppose to be toxic.
All of them are beautiful. Can I ask - did you all start yours from seed? Are they easy to grow from seed? Or did you buy them already started from a nursery?
