My name is Wendy. I live in Southern NH. This year I am gardening on my own. We have had a few storms, and my tomato plants are suffering. Should I remove the damaged parts, or the whole plant?? I'm really excited to have become a member of this site...not on my own any longer!!
Hi Wendy and a warm welcome to GardenStew I would suggest posting your tomato question in the Fruit & Veg forum as you'll get a more focused answer there http://www.gardenstew.com/forums/fruit-and-veg-gardening.6/ On the Stew you'll definitely not be in your own!
Hi Wendy, welcome to GardenStew from hot and dry north central Texas. Oh, you are so not alone anymore when you come here. Gardeners from all over the world to learn from and get to know. And remember, there is no such thing as a stupid question!!!! Oh, and we love photos....gardens, future gardens, plants, pets, local scenery.
Hi Wendy, welcome to Gardenstew from Chelmsford, MA. Turn South and wave, I will wave back. Turn SW and Cayuga Morning will wave back. We do have gardeners that grow lots of tomatoes. I might grow a bush or two for amusement and experimental value only(hardly enough sun). Is your tomato plant damage from last weeks big wind storm? We also love pictures . Welcome aboard. Jerry
Welcome from central Texas! You'll get great advice here, lots of encouragement, and admiration for your accomplishments!
Hi Wendy...welcome! I am late to this post. Were you able to get some help with your tomatoes? Tomatoes in this area are subject to early & late blight & there are ways of managing it. BTW I live just south of you in MA & commute to work in Nashua.
