Thanks guys!! I really appreciate all your well wishes. We actually had the family get together/birthday dinner last weekend...just combined it with our annual Easter dinner, because I knew this w/e would be so busy with the prep for leaving. Even so, I had a great day. Paige treated me to some Mum/daughter time as we shared a birthday/vacation Pedicure, and then I went to Ed's for dinner and he cooked out and I got to eat a thick, juicy ribeye and wash it down with some of my favorite red wine, and a dessert of coconut macaroons, also my favorite! I also got to facetime with my California grandkids who also sent me an amazon gift card and a mug..... I mean, come on guys...who doesn't want to fart glitter and poop rainbows?? And Ed got me these very thoughtful gardening gifts..... The pic doesn't show it well...sorry. It's a very sturdy canvas gardening stool with a detachable tote underneath that has outside pockets for the various gardening tools that come with it. And he also got me this....a gardening knife! I never knew such a thing existed but I can already thing of so many uses for it! It's in a heavy leather sheath,and the knife itself is very sturdy, thick blade that's smooth on one side and serrated on the other so it's like a saw. And it's also a bit curved so I could also use it as a gardening trowel, with measurements up the blade. So yeah, I'd say my birthday was a good one!
Happy belated birthday Ronni! Sounds like you had a great day. I bet you will enjoy that gardening stool. And that knife! A friend gave me one...I forgot the name. Begins eith 'H '. They originated in Japan. I use mine all the time. Very handy. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine!
