My trail to grow Pomegranate from seeds. I soaked the seeds in water for 24h then put the seeds on newspaper inside a locked plastic container after wetting the newspaper. After 10 days I got about ten seeds (out of about 30) sprouting. Here are some photos [October 12 2016]:

As I have never seen a pomegranate tree, to actually see a seedling is interesting. Hmmmm, maybe the next time I buy a pomegranate I won't eat all the seeds.:)

I'd LOVE to be able to grow pomegranates. They're my #1 most favourite fruit. Could eat a full one every day (if I could get them).

You are having such good success with your pomegranate. I can share your enthusiasm because when I lived in Granada, Spain...I took seeds from a pomegranate there and germinated them too. I took the seedlings back home and was able to get one decent plant which I had to grow on in the greenhouse (because of the climate). When it got too big, it had to be removed...and perished. It was sad but successful. I like the blooms.
    Well done, you.

I did the same with store bought. My tree is now close to two years old and over 4 feet tall. It is planted in my yard. I am hoping that it continues to do well so I can get some fruits!

I'd LOVE to get a pomegranate tree and I'd be over the moon if it actually produced pomegranate for me.
