    My heart is with you. Our fur friends are such a joy. To have them pass leaves such a hole.

    Thank you Carolyn,..Cayuga Morning,..Sjoerd,..Jewell,

    The past four days are the only days i didn't have a dog in the house during the past 22 years,..you can almost hear an echo in the house because of the silence,..no waking up because Molly was snoring loudly,..or having a dream that she was running with legs moving like mad on her bed,..when going to bed i still head for the back door to let Molly outside,..i only left the house once in the past four days to post a letter,..when i opened the door on my return there was no Molly waiting just inside the door,..its like that most of the time,..thankfully my head is starting to come under my control though my concentration on anything is short lived.

    Going to see some dogs during the week in the Rescue Center :)

    Philip, I hope you find a good fit but don't settle for one that just doesn't "fit" you. if it isn't there this weekend maybe next week, but there is one there somewhere and sometime.

    Carolyn,..i will certainly remember your advise,..one could easily take the first dog sighted,..i have always dreaded visiting an Animal Shelter,..it would be hard to look the first dog on offer in the eye and say no,..so i will be clear on what i want to see,..small,..quiet dog,..not one that barks at the wind,..not a puppy either,..should be easy,..the dogs on offer just now consist of lots of Beagles,..while i would like one they tend to be happy with others dogs and not be the only pet.

    The latest on the 'New Dog Search'.

    Drove to the Animal Rescue only to be told that both the dogs i thought would suit me,..were on a reserved list,..two reserves prior to mine on the first dog and three reserves before me on the second dog and neither dog would be available just yet,..so i thought why wait until the dogs were ready and perhaps not get either one.

    Contacted another organization and they have several dogs,..the one that caught my eye was named 'Molly',..i never came across another dog named Molly so i had a good think on this and decided to try get this dog,..heading off in the morning to meet the dog.

    Molly The Terrier.

    Hi Carolyn,..i set out early this morning and phoned the Animal Rescue,..problem they said,..it was not good news but at least i have 'Molly The Terrier x',..here in the house,..it seems another dog attacked Molly and she had to get stitches yesterday,..i maintained she would heal better with me that to remain in the Rescue Pen,..they agreed.
    ====================================================================================
    2ofus,..she is adorable,..very clingy just now and follows me every time i move about the house,..very affectionate little girl and licks me every time i get near.

    ===================================================================================
    Frank,..her story is she is an indoor dog,.. her previous owner developed asthma and Molly had to become an outdoor dog,..the owner couldn't live with this and decided to have her re homed,..she is 3 years old,..has all her injections and is microchipped.

    Frank the Animal Rescue is located beyond Mullingar,..there are at least a dozen roundabouts on that route along the motorway,..luckily i have Google Sat Nav on my phone,..it was great to hear a voice telling me when to turn off,..and at no cost.
