I usually buy individual packages of ground pork, ground turkey, ground chicken and ground beef to mix in what portions I want. .... that full combination is very good in a good old standard meat loaf.

And Texas Red is the official food of Texas....without beans no matter what chili recipe you were raised on. ;)

It all sure sounds good to me.
One thing that I have noticed is that if I cook it up one day and then eat it 1, 2 or (if frozen-in) many days thereafter...that it seems to taste better than freshly made. I seem to notice a depth of flavour that isn't there the first evening.

I was surprised to learn that you folks there do not use beans in your chilli, but i guess that taste and tradition determine the ingredients and cooking times. I cook mine for several hours before eating and freezing-in.

This site is so good for learning tips and tricks for all sorts of things....food included. Thanks a mil for taking the time to include your info as well.
Thanks again for your input as well--Toni en Evil-R.
