    I don't think I'd mind an invader like yours somehow Cappy. I wonder what other 'aliens' will take over your garden next year.

    That's the best kind of invader! I once had a vine like that grow in the flower garden, from the compost. Once it finally started making fruit it turned out to be a small, inedible gourd. I would have been pleased as punch to have butternut squash!

    Eileen thats one of the joys of our lil garden boxes. Stuff pops up and on occasion we let it grow just to see. We have 3 trees that just started growing, and lots of veggy volunteers.

    Netty we get stuff like that on occasion if ya think about it its cause what ya composted was a hybrid something. I ampretty sure ya didn't compost inedible gourds.

    Thanks Hank I know we aint pro's but love sharing stuff with friends and family. Thanks for the encouragement
