A very different spider.

    Have you ever come across the dome spider? Makes a dome shaped web. You can see it at the top of the web in this picture

    No I've never come across those webs or spiders before. That's what I like about GardenStew being worldwide - we get to see things that we'd never see otherwise.:)

    Gee, I thought Texas had one of every insect, arachnid, and critter every invented, but we don't seem to have dome spiders. It's okay, you don't need to send us a pair--we'll just enjoy your photos and breathe a sigh of relief that there is one arachnid we don't have!
