Here is our potato patch in the first week of April. I used Sjoerd's dig a trench and slowly fill in method, and we have lovely potato plants (can hardly wait to see what is going on underground!).
The first row is turnips, but the rest are potatoes--Red LaSoda and Yukon Gold.

Nice looking plants Jane and I look forward to seeing your first batch of 'tatties'. Sjeord certainly knows his stuff doesn't he? I'm so glad he's here to help us when we need him. My potatoes have been a bigger success after following his advice.

    What a nice posting, Jane.
I am really glad that you seem to be having a good success with your spuds so far. I planted mine back in March and am still waiting to see the first little mouse-ears above ground. You have the jump on me. hahaha.
    Well done, you.

Also thanks for your nice words, Eileen and Frank.
