Yah..Its from Pune, India I am not from this field and I took the photograph just because I found the moth (?) interesting. So I don't have anything more to add about it!
They've got approximately 10,000 species of moths in India. Maybe you should try submitting it to http://www.whatsthatbug.com?
I got lucky, I found it. It is the male Eudocima materna http://www.inra.fr/papillon/noctuid/oph ... matern.htm And it appears to be an agricultural pest, it attacks citrus fruit and sucks the juice out.
