**Any ideas? Lil white blossoming twig and not so many leaf

    was wondering what this lil bush here is, its on the back house corner at the side. Has nice lil blossums on it that are a light pink and pop out for a lil while.
    There are no thorns and the branches arent that thick except at the base mostly.

    Some sort of flowering Cherry. Prunus of some sort. There are dwarf ones available.

    I agree that it is a Prunus. I am thinking Dwarf Flowering Almond. It seems to have a couple of names but I use Prunus glandulosa.

    no its not that fragrant from what i can remember...
    the blooms are all gone now so i guess i will have to wait till next year to get a better whiff..

    btw thanks guys for the i.d on this plant, i looked up the Prunus and it does look just like some of the dwarf flowering almonds..

    on another note i found something attached to one of the outer branches of this yesterday. Some sort of cocoon but im not sure what it is? Heres a few pics...

    That looks like my Flowering Almond.
    I bet that cacoon is a large beautiful moth or It may be Hummingbird moth which is beautiful too.

    Thanks all, for IDing the little almond bush. I was given starts of it years ago and always wondered what it was.
