I've got seed that says Mexican Tarragon. Also says on the packet that the seed source is Israel? What? :D

Texas Tarragon and Mexican Tarragon are common names for the same plant Tagetes lucida, which is native to Mexico and South America. The leaves can be used in place of French Tarragon.

Seed source of Israel just means it was grown there.

Also, Mexican Mint Marigold is another common name for the same plant.

Thanks, Toni. I thought they might be but I wasn't sure. So, I'm going to start some seed in a couple of Jiffy pellets tomorrow.
