And I feel given the economy of the world it is best to know where a product is coming from so we can make wise consumer choices hence the need to know how to read product BAR CODES. If the first 3 digits are: 690-692 ... then it is MADE IN CHINA 00 - 09 ... USA & CANADA 30 - 37 FRANCE 40 - 44 GERMANY 471 ... Taiwan 49 ... JAPAN 50 ... UK If you're buying USA & CANADIAN MADE products watch for "0" at the beginning of the number. Just an FYI
