I always like to see your photographs Sherry as your birds are so different to the species we get here in Scotland. The only one that looks similar to one of ours is the House finch. It resembles the Redpoll that visit my garden in winter.

What type of jam is that Sherry? What a treat for your beautiful visitors. Thanks for posting them.

Your one lucky girl Sherry, more so for the Hummer.

They are all lovely, colurful birds.

Sherry, what syrup is in the Hummer feeder? I have to find some tasty syrup and pop is not the same thing.

Thank you Eileen...our redpolls that come down from Canada look quite different from our house finch. I will have to do a little checking to see what you have...

Frank...thank you...they like grape jelly/jam. I usually buy the jam because if some is left when they leave we eat it. I have read that they like other flavors of jam but I have never tried any....

Kate that is sugar water, 4 cups of water to one cup of sugar I use. I have read that they like 3 to 1 ratio but I have used the 4 to 1 for so many years, I decided not to change it and take the change of not as many birds... thank you
