just wondered if anyone used this method of growing apples?

I'm planning my next garden and space is going to be limited. so for maximum yield cordon seems the best growing method.

my main concern is how much pruning is required? I'm more than happy to spend a day pruning back ready for that years crop. but would be concerned if i have to prune weekly to maintain the trunk spurs.

Your going to get reduced crop, and will need to prune late winter every year.
