Crape Myrtle tree looks like its dying.???

    Now THAT looks like a recovering crepe myrtle. I think you have saved your tree!

    Yep... I agree with Jane. That new growth looks very healthy to me.

    The tree is now completely healthy and is actually starting to bloom. It actually looks like there are going to be a lot of blooms.

    Just realized that I never showed a picture of the tree when it was thriving. It's dropping its leaves now but it looked awesome a couple of months ago.

    Looks very good. I have just begin to like Crape Myrtle. Now I have 3 or 4 in the gardens and have clipped as many as I could to get started for next Spring. I want the stuff planted all over the place. It's just a beautiful plant.

    You did great saving that baby. Keep it up.

    Danny, I'm so proud of you! That is a lovely tree that you'll enjoy for years.
    I also take back the comment about espaliering vines on your house--they look great and are obviously under control. You taught this gardener a good lesson!
