Daffodils are done, freesia are starting to bloom!

    I had to take the camera around to the end of the house because I noticed the daffodils are done blooming. They need to be deadheaded now. But the freesia are starting to bloom now.

    I thought the red ones were pretty but that odd white one is pretty good, too. I think there will be a yellow one. I will watch for it.

    Gosh Dooley my daffodils haven't even flowered yet let alone died back!! :eek:
    I love freesias and wish I could grow them here. I doubt if they would survive out climate though so I'm content to share yours.
    The red ones are a lovely striking shade and white one is a real beauty.

    My Daffs are finished blooming but the leaves are still bright green so no cutting them back yet.
    I tried for two springs to grow Freesias, sorta bloomed the first year, the second year nothing but a little green popped up.

    Those red ones a stunning!!!
