It hasn't become very noticeable down here, but I am anxiously awaiting the earlier dark time of the year.

NO! Say it isn't SO! It has been overcast the past few mornings and so I was blaming the clouds. Darn it!

I've been noticing and wondering where all the weeks went when the nights were getting lighter. Before we know it'll be THAT time of year again but I won't be the one to mention the C word. ;)

We bought room darkening curtains for the bedroom because we were waking up too early. Since we moved to Wisconsin I think that they will also help keep out cold during the fall and winter. But, it just turned summer on the calendar a few days ago so hopefully they won't be needed for that for a few months yet.

You didn't have to remind me! We went through a long cold wet spring and I want to enjoy summer without thinking of the C word.

    Well guys,

As you all probably know its eleven days since we had the longest day (June 21st) it can only go backwards now.:smt088:smt088...slowly of course because it does take many weeks yet.

No panic though; due to the aweful Spring I too am hoping to extend summer to around October/November.

It does Sherry, far quicker than those cold dark nights.

C-word, I never said it Eileen honest lol........:setc_005:

It has been cloudy Netty till the heatwave, with cloud come earlier dark nights temporary I hope.

Dooley early morning sun is a menace. the flowers are opening, Bees and Wasps flying and I have a need to water my Fern and Nanas but try to avoid the flying Insects.

I have a blind in the bedroom but curtains are what we need Dooley.

I live under a blanket cloud most of the year except for this heat and sun we are getting.
    :setc_063:

    Keep smiling...you too Toni.

Too early to think of shorter days. At this latitude days still last until 9 pm almost 10. Sun comes up at 4am. Long days and the dry stays usually past the equinox. Come on summer! We are just beginning! And what wonderful sunsets and sunrises we have been having:like:
