    image.jpg i forgot to post this last evening. A flyby visit to the allotment to grab a couple of bits for supper. A little gem lettuce and a red oak leaf lettuce and a bundle of crispy radish.

    Just the thing for a warm spring evening. Little gems are my all time favourite lettuces.

    EJ,..a very worthwhile flyby visit,..something one never forgets is the scent of fresh lettuce and radishes just removed from the soil,..tasty as well.
