vine with purple seed pods ( photo / image / picture from daisybeans's Garden ) A friend sent me this photo to see if I recognize this Fall blooming climbing vine... I don't. Do any of you? Sorry, not much to go on. I've asked him for more info but thought maybe someone would know it right off the bat. He says: "It has purple seed pods. The leaves in the center are from a white flowering version that has green seed pods. It is blooming now and it climbs." (November) Thanks!
Looks like a Hyacinth Bean Vine Daisybeans. And a very HEALTHY one too!! Lablab purpureus (Hyacinth Bean)
That would be my suggestion too Netty. I love mine. I am not aware of a white version of it tho, I think those might be two totally different plants. Could we see a photo of the white blooms and bean pods too?
That's what I was thinking too Netty and Toni, though it would be nice to see a closer pic. If he sends one, you know I'll post it. I'll send him the link and see what he thinks.
