What a lovely raised bed Syd. Phlox is one of my favourite plants as they produce so many flowers.

Hi Eileen, Kitty. Phlox whether big or small have always been firm favourites of mine and I cannot imagine a garden without some. I do so love that word "cute" and it is spot on since everything here averagely is on a much smaller scale to what the/you folks in U.S. have. I make the most of what space I have but have to say that two thirds of this plot are under sheeting and shingle to keep the very many and very active Mole population under control . My first ever garden of twenty five years duration was the biggest and best though still small in comparison - had quite an area there given over to raised beds and Alpines - will post a couple. of old pics. Syd.
