Easy quilting project...

    that doesn't look easy at all! Looks like you took a lot of time to piece the blocks together (squares look a bit like those in a crazy quilt), but not so. Called a mile-a-minute quilt, and it uses a lot of scraps.

    I made a duvet cover out of it (120 8" blocks) and filled it with a lightweight down comforter. Keeps us plenty warm on our cold Wisconsin nights.     Oh I really like that!! The colours would go with anything so it wouldn't need to be changed if a room were to be redecorated. :stew2:

    wow. lovely. if i had that for a cover, i'd be in bed all the time. may not be a good idea!
    mom worked all life as seamstress. also got tons of patches. she could do one for me.
    what she is lacking... is TIME.
    always busy with the garden. etc.
    and now... winter's almost over :(

    Thanks for the comments. Like I said, this is an easy one to put together. You're supposed to sit at your machine with your pile of scraps right next to you, and just pull them out at random to attach to the strips. It really goes fast and uses a lot of your scraps (of course you end up with even more scraps after cutting out the blocks!!!).
