Our oldest son left today. He flew up from Tenn. and we had a good visit for 5 days but it is hard to say goodbye. We only get to see him a few days each year.

I feel the same when our youngest son comes to visit and then leaves. We are lucky if we see him once a year and it is very hard to see him go at the end of his stay. I try to look forward to his next trip home but wish he could come more often.

I can relate ... my daughter and her fiancee bought a house and she moved out this week. I am happy for her success, but I miss her already!

Aw, the quiet that follows nice visits like those always seems especially "loud", doesn't it? :worried:
I know how much you are already looking forward to the next visit.
