Don't ask me how I managed it,
Last night it gave me much pain in an already painful knee. I dug and dug to remove a well rooted Fern which I wanted to bring to a new garden. The only other alternative was asking a guy to slice it off from the base.:smt089

Anyway its out and in a pot ready for the move.

I think I'd have given up Kate. You're obviously made of sterner stuff than I am. I hope it 'takes' in it's new home and thrives for you after all your hard work getting it dug out.
