Flower ID please

    Here's another plant grown crom seed with lost.label. it's about 10"-12" tall. Slim single stalk with flower at top.

    I think it's a Gaillardia of some sort Bosque

    Thanks Netty. I did plant some red gaillardia seeds. I love them.

    I am not positive and don't want to add confusion, but wait for a seed pod to form. my first thought was some kind of poppy, but I have never seen any in that color and gallardia I have never seen with that type of center. usually they look more like a daisy in orange, yellow or rust bicolors.

    I have had Gaillardia in that color, and still have the tag. It was Gaillardia grandiflora 'Burgunder'
