Yup, that definitely Thorn Apple. The flowers do smell pretty, but be careful that it doesn't take over your yard. You must carefully cut off the see pods before they burst.

netty can I transplant them to my garden right now so they don't get mowed down if I dig up a big area around the plant? I have done research but nothing about if you can transplant after they are blooming and where is the seed pod located and should I get it after the bloom dies?

Donna, you should be able to move it now if you dig a big ball around the roots. Keep it watered and it should be fine. As for the seed pod, after the plant blooms you wont be able to miss the spiky seed pod as it forms. It has fairly soft spikes at first, but as it grows it actually gets hard and sharp and can make you bleed! Cut them off when they are small and you will be fine!

Yea, I would dig a ball about a foot in diameter around the plant then transplant it and keep it watered like Netty said.
