Found this Butterfly This Morning

    Ouch!! Hmmm, no repair service for Limenitis arthemis astyanax. It still looks serviceable, maybe it is resting after its mishap. :-(

    Yes, I agree with Jerry. These injuries are not always life threatening. Maybe he just needs a little rest after some kind of mishap.

    Yes...very pretty butterfly ...I can't believe we have sulphurs and a few other ones around our area...we get a few warm days and then back to the 20's or low 30's at night...not what the butterflys need.
    The way the winds are blowing I think they will be far from our area...
