Green onions starting to look sad

    I would leave them alone and just let them do whatever they will. If they are crowded you will get smaller bulbs. I have about a six inch space between mine. But I let them make larger bulbs.

    Mine are about two inches apart in the crowded area, but I'm leaving them alone for now.

    Two more have died, and one still looks puny, but the rest have definitely improved. One is really shooting up, and there are several new sprigs coming out! I'm really hoping that this one will be able to flower. The rest have a little ways to go before they catch up to that one.

    I wanted to thank everyone for the advice on here, they've really saved me and my little plants.

    why do you want it to flower? are you saving seeds? once it flowers there is no bulb formation. once it bolts there is no bulb formed.
