It sure is pretty but we don't think we planted it there... Is it a weed. Please tell me????? If it's a weed I must get rid of it quickly cause, as weeds do, it's taking over. :D

Creeping Buttercup. One of the hardest things to weed out of a garden! Good Luck!

Barb, Get on that quick! That is a pesky plant that will take over the world! It does have those cute little flowers, but it becomes a not-so-cute plant when it tries to grow into and all over everything in the garden! That one is one of my customer's gardens and it makes me crazy!

Hubby and I think it's very cute too. That's why it is there. We are on it right now. Thanks again ladies. XOX

Could you send a close-up of the leaves and flower please?

    That is quite a patch!

It's too late. It's all gone. It was Ranunculus repens. I searched it and agree with Netty and Key.

I kept saying how pretty it was as I dug and ripped and tore it out. Now when we take our daily walk I will make sure it doesn't return. If it does, I will snatch up real quick.

    Thanks anyway, Sjoerd.

Oké miss. That area looks nice and clean. Do you have plans of something new to plant there, or will you just leave it open like that?

Oh, I had never seen that before. It was darling, though. Too bad it is invasive. We have buttercups everywhere this year\ I keep hoeing them out.

We buy and plant so many plants we can't keep track of them. Soon all the REAL ones will have labels and then the problem will be gone.

As I keep telling all of you, I am just learning about outside plants. I am also a very slow learner. :D

Sjoerd, I think something will be transplanted to fill in that space. I have so many plants that are getting a little over sized in other places.

It's the first year that our gardens are having to be trimmed back from overgrowth since we put them in. That's a cool thing.

My friend gave me creeping buttercup years ago and it might just be the death of me!!! I think it would be wonderful if you needed a woodland type ground cover for ditches or a hillside or something along those lines.

Pity it is so invasive. It looks so charming.

I didn't notice it last year but this Spring I did. I really enjoyed it early on and thought I would spread it around. I am very thankful I didn't do that.

It was enjoyable to have while I thought it was a "bought" plant. Then I got the bad news and I always listen to all of you guys. It is history now.... :p
