Habenaria radiata/ White Egret Orchid.

    This just has to be my all time favourite houseplant. I managed to overwinter them (which I'm really pleased about) so this is the second year I have had these perennial orchids growing for me. They have a delicate fragrance and the blooms are small but perfectly formed and really do look like white egrets in flight. :D

    That's beautiful, congrats on being such good Mommy for it. I haven't tried to grow an orchid since I lived in south Florida but I do look at them longingly at the garden center.

    It looks so delicate and dainty!
    I tried saving an orchid here at the office. Didn't make it. Probably my first and last time giving them a try.
    Your's is so beautiful... I can see why you'd be so proud of it!

    I can just picture a bird in flight, congratulations on having it bloom a second year. That's quite an accomplishment.

    Very nice! What pretty and unusual feathery looking flowers your orchid has!
    Congratulation on being able to successfully over-winter it. It certainly was well worth the try!
