This just has to be my all time favourite houseplant. I managed to overwinter them (which I'm really pleased about) so this is the second year I have had these perennial orchids growing for me. They have a delicate fragrance and the blooms are small but perfectly formed and really do look like white egrets in flight.
That's beautiful, congrats on being such good Mommy for it. I haven't tried to grow an orchid since I lived in south Florida but I do look at them longingly at the garden center.
It looks so delicate and dainty! I tried saving an orchid here at the office. Didn't make it. Probably my first and last time giving them a try. Your's is so beautiful... I can see why you'd be so proud of it!
