Thanks all. Sitting our room at The Maverick Inn in Alpine waiting til time to head to the observatory. Hopefully enough of the clouds go away that we can see some of the sky tonight. Not many places to eat here so McDonald's was it. Felt like old times when that was all we could afford, so it seemed right. Back to Abilene tomorow and junque shops. Also will be stopping by the only Prada store in west Texas on the highway just outside of Marfa.
It turned out to be a cloud viewing party. But they have indoor discussions and videos when that happens.
