A friend just moved into a new house and wanted to know what type of plants are in front. I was able to identify a lot of them but a few stumped me. Any help would be appreciated! Pictures are of the full form, then a close up of the leaves.

The first is a Lagerstroemia indica (Crape Myrtle, Crepe Myrtle) There are different species but the most common one used in landscape is this one. Mine are dark pink, but they come in white or purple blooms too.

    Not familiar with the others.

Thanks Toni! I asked on one other site too and got told crepe myrtle as well.. They think the small one is also a crepe myrtle, and the tall skinny one an ornamental cherry. Interested to hear more opinions, if anyone wants to share theirs.
