I'm growing my own horseradish for the first time. I like my spice condiment to have actual chunks in it and so to get that, I have potted some to make my own!

I don't know much about Horseradish and this one will be an experiment. They are usually messy and weedy looking in a field crop and so I have chosen to pot it up in a lions head cracked cement pot with feature rock to help it look great ;)

Of all my herbs and crops, this plant seems to be the most vulnerable one. Nothing that a bit of pyre-thrum wont fix right up though. Right?

I will keep this thread updated as the test radish grows.

By vulnerable do you mean to insect damage or fungus? Pyrethrum will treat the insects but it is not for fungus infections.

My horseradish seems very easy growing. Have a couple of large clumps next to the walkway. I found the large leaves ornamental and add a different texture to my perennial garden.

Making horseradish it is just a grind in the blender. Nothing could be easier....or possibly more pungent.
