How much do I water newly planted bulbs

    Does anyone know how much water does a newly planted canna bulbs need or calla bulb, I don't want them to rot or be to dry.I'm just not sure.

    I usually water when I plant them and then not again until green shoots pop-up. That means they have broken dormancy and need water, but not all that much. You probably have enough rain to take care of their needs.

    I rarely even water mine in when I plant them Margie. I usually pop them into the ground at the beginning of autumn and our Scottish weather does the rest. :D

    I'm the same, Margie. I do not water my bulbs at all-- when planted or when growing.

    Did you plant them indoors in pots Margie?
    I usually water them well when I pot them up and not again until the green shoots appear. Once the shoots appear water them more often.

    Yes Netty I planted them indoors to get a quicker start , And I did water them first I hope not to much , Thank you all.
