My camera doesn't have great zoom capabilities... so it's pretty hard for me to get a good shot of a Hummer.
But... at least I was able to snap a couple of photos.
There's been two of them playing around the garden the last few days. Always right there... IF there is no camera in-hand.
The little bugger even hovered in the spout of water in the little fountain... either taking a bath or getting a drink. But would it do it again once I moved a chair near there, camera in hand... for nearly an hour? NO! :D
Anyhow... here it is. There must really be something good inside Coneflowers!

And even though this picture is pretty terrible quality... I just love it because of the shadow on the wooden fence rail.
Yep... I must ask Santa for a better camera!

Isn't it just like the thing that when you have a camera ready and waiting very little happens? Nice shot Cheryl. Those coneflowers certainly attract lots of wildlife.

Well done! You are much more patient than I am...I've been trying to get a shot of my Hummers for years!

Eileen... this is the first time I've had Coneflowers. You can bet I'll always try to keep some on hand.
All flying creatures seem to flock to them.

Netty... It wasn't so much patience... but stubbornness! :D I was bound and determined to get it's picture playing in the fountain. Guess it just didn't hear me when I asked it to do it again and smile for the camera! :D

Not only are the pictures great shots but I now know hummers like coneflowers. Living in the shade I did not grow coneflowers till a couple of years ago. I will watch the coneflowers more carefully. Thank you Cheryl.

Very nice. I wish I had time to really watch if there's some visitors in my flower garden :(
