I take a picture or two each day of the Anna's hummingbird. There are at least 4 around the feeders. They perch in a near bye tree, a few feet from the sundeck. They chase each other off all the time. male anna's.jpg

We don't have Annas, so I appreciate your photo even more than usual!
Our Ruby throats chase each other, also. Hummingbirds so very territorial!

I don't have hummingbirds but our robins are just as territorial when it comes to feeding. If they'd only realise there's more than enough food for everyone then they'd all get their share without expending so much energy.

I have Annas at my feeders right now. They're very entertaining to watch.

Great shot! I miss my little ruby throated hummingbirds this time of year. They are amazing little creatures to watch.
