Netty, thanks for that link; I've marked its location/address for further study.. That is a subject (Genetic messing around with our food source) that I have intense interest in!

 

I'm sure this isn't just confined to the US so I'll be delving into their operation on this side of the Atlantic.Thank you for the heads up.

 

There is a lot about the hijacking of seed and demands for royalties. some feel this is a major threat to food supplies. Dr. Shiva has several videos on TED Talks that are quite good. The impact was quite extreme on India's farmers who had saved their own seeds for replanting for generations.
