Last Allium For The Season

    This is my last Allium bloom for the year. I always enjoy the little thing every year it arrives.
    It usually only displays one bloom but this year it did this...WOW

    There are Alliums which flower late in the year. Look out for one called A. wallichii, lilac coloured ball in September. I have an unnamed one which is very small, purple (also got it in white) which flowers towards the middle of September here.

    Oh I planted allot of different Allium last fall. Since I haven't been out where I planted them recently, maybe I have A. wallichii up there....That would be nice.

    Alliums are one of my favorite plants!!! Those are awesome!!

    I'm waiting for the fall bulbs to arrive as this fall I'm going to be adding lots more allium to the garden. The few I planted last year looked terrific so am going to be adding other ones for spring.
