More canning to do. The other day we went to another market. We picked up about 50 grapefruits. We paid $12. for all of them. I was going to save the rind for freezing and jams, compotes and can the segments in lite syrup. I got tired and just squeezed all the grapefruit. Strained it and canned it. I got 6 quarts that my hubby can enjoy when he wants a change from orange juice. Simple but good.

Squeezed, strained 2 times down to a screen size. Then packed hot juice in hot quarts and bwb for 15 minutes. Sealed beautifully.

Small job but it sure was sticky. :D :D It was all natural, no sugar added. They were really ripe.

Yes it taste soo good with no sugar added. They were so so ripe. That's why I didn't have to add any sugar.

Wish I could find more of that deal.
