Really enjoy taking pictures of the hummers. I feel sorry for those that don't get to see them. This is the female Anna's.

I feel sorry for myself too Kildale. How I would love to have these gorgeous little birds visiting me here.

Very lovely, Kildale! We put out our feeders but haven't had any company yet. Hopefully soon!

I was thinking of you Eileen when I wrote that. We are lucky here as the Anna's stays the year round. The Rufous arrives here in March.

Very nice Kildale. We only get the Ruby throat here, which a few males showed up on March 9th. The females should be here by now, but I've been way too busy in the gardens to really sit down to take notice. Yesterday I did notice the cage full of dog hair I put out was completely empty. Many birds including the hummers love using it to build their nest, as I am sure you know.
