We signed the papers for our lakefront property last week ...we have been going there and working every day ....today we need to do a few things around home. I am sorry the picture is bad but I only had my camera phone and I was sneaking up on them and as you can see in the picture, they started flying up when they noticed me. The water is so peaceful today...not any wind at all and the weather was beautiful for October 19. October 20, 2016 040.jpg

French fries and a hoop net, and you can catch yourself a duck dinner.

Thank you everyone...We usually end up sitting in a chair just staring out over the water when we are done working. No duck here, my husband isn't a hunter and I have never had it. I am going to try my hardest not to feed them, I don't want a mess all over our grass plus we most likely will be saving at least a 100 dollars a month by not feeding birds like we do now. Sure I will miss them and I will be tempted to feed but I want to learn more about the new area and what type of birds will be around before I make up my mind.
