    Hi,
Is it possible for me to use Morning Glory for ground coverage?

I think there are different varieties of morning glory. Look for one that trails or is short and bushy rather than the climbing kind. :)

I forgot to mention, If you buy morning glory seeds one time you will never have to buy them again ;) They make lots of seeds and are really easy to harvest!
